Osasuna Calls 22 Players for Season Finale Against Getafe
Los Rojillos Focus on Progressive Movements, Game Plan, Intrasquad Matches
Club Atlético Osasuna trained behind closed doors at El Sadar on Wednesday as the team prepared to face Girona on Saturday, Jan. 10, at Montilivi. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CET (5:30 p.m. GMT, 12:30 p.m. ET). Los Rojillos focused on progressive movements, game plan and intrasquad matches.
Defender Enzo Boyomo remains absent as he continues to represent Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations. Forward Iker Benito is still recovering from an ACL injury. Osasuna Promesas goalkeeper Dimitrios Stamatakis and midfielder Mauro Echegoyen joined the first team for training.
Because of the forecasted weather, Thursday’s training session will be closed to the public, as the team's only fieldwork will focus on strategy, which is typically conducted in private. The lighter portion of the session, usually open to the public, will take place indoors. Friday’s session at the Tajonar Sports Complex will be open to the public.
